Just wanted to answer your question regarding “Events vs Projects” in iMovie.
Don’t worry, you’re not the only one confused about these two naming conventions.
EVENTS are simply your collections of clips and pictures.
Basically the “media” that will be used in your Projects.
PROJECTS are the actual video that you will be creating and exporting as the final product.
You could also called this your “TIMELINE” or “EDITING FILE”.
IN SUMMARY:
Your PROJECT is the video you are creating, made from the media content stored in your EVENTS.
Hopefully that answers your question!
Happy Editing,

P.S- We just re-opened the “iMovie PRO Master Class & Community”.
If it makes sense, I’d love to have you join us.
